The Life of a Single Mom® has released its 2024 annual report detailing a reach of more than 400,000 single moms impacted throughout the calendar year through a variety of events, programs, and initiatives. In its pages, you'll read about the annual single mom boot camps, prison outreach, 5-day single mom virtual series, ministry leader support for churches, Christmas, and back-to-school efforts, and so much more.
We saw milestone goals accomplished, such as achieving a new four-star rating with Charity Navigator, adding to the list of credentials secured by our agency, including a Platinum Seal with Guidestar Candid. We strengthened our support group network, adding 166 new single mothers’ groups nationally, and crested over 16,000 active students in Single Mom University®. We increased local and national partnerships through a variety of collaborative efforts.
Our very own Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Jennifer Maggio, released her fifth book, the first one in over a decade. The new Unstuck book brought a fresh wind of followers, clients, volunteers, and donors, increasing our organic advertising efforts. Unstuck also brought new interest to existing curriculum, including Overwhelmed: The Life of a Single Mom and others.

Join The Life of a Single Mom® team for our 2025 TLSM Impact Fundraising Luncheon at the Lod Cook Conference Center in Baton Rouge, LA (or virtually). This annual event is the organization’s only fundraiser of the year and gathers business and community leaders throughout the U.S. to learn more about the work of the organization and financially support the cause. This is a can’t-miss event, as the organization will highlight its impact in 2024, release upcoming plans to the public, share exciting news, and spotlight beautiful testimonials of women and children whose lives are changed because of our work.
