The Board of Directors and Executive Staff of The Life of a Single Mom (TLSM) are pleased to announce the release of the annual report for the year ended December 31, 2018.
The organization is committed to transparency in all our areas of our operation from financial stewardship to programs and projects. We are committed to the mission of seeing no single mother walk alone and know that it takes an army of staff, volunteers, ministry leaders, and stake holders to fulfill that purpose.
A Year of Growth & Change
We are excited about everything that we have been able to accomplish over the course of 2018. This has been a year full of growth and change and we don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. In this report, you will find a recap of the highlights from this year’s events and accomplishments.

As I sit and reflect on the massive moves that took place within The Life of a Single Mom over the course of the year, I am in awe.It’s an exciting time for the organization and we’re thankful for the hundreds of donors, community partners, and volunteers who make this work possible.The goal of seeing no single mom walking alone has never been more important.
Over the course of the last year, we have moved the ball down the field in substantial ways to impact the lives of single mothers and their children, much of which you can read about in the pages of this annual report.”

The organization was established in 2007 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and later received its 501c3 status in late 2010. Since its inception, the organization has cultivated relationships with more than 1,500 churches and community groups around the United States and 19 additional countries to ensure single mothers of all stages and ages have a support group in their area. The organization has a particular focus in expanding life skills for single mothers in the areas of parenting, finances, and health & wellness, addressing the needs of the “whole” single mom.

The Life of a Single Mom is a national, faith-based, nonprofit that exists to see that no single mom walks alone.
