The Life of a Single Mom Ministries is committed to bringing help to the lives of single mothers in a variety of ways.
Support for single mothers available through our organization include both free and low-cost services. Our goal is to have every single mom connected to a local support group in her community that ensures networking, educational, and growth opportunities. We also offer free produce distribution and exercise classes in some of our support groups, as well as in-depth financial, parenting, and health & wellness education classes. Our services focus on helping single mothers with long-term solutions to ensure healthy outcomes for their families.
In addition, we provide free weekly articles on single parent topics, free podcasts & videos, a monthly newsletter, online life skills classes through Single Mom University, events around the United States (and beyond), a free national resource guide to help single mothers locate emergency services that we can’t provide, and much more. Our goal is to see that no single mom walks alone. Check out our free PDFs below, as well as details on the many services we provide.
Join us every week for LIVE chats where we discuss relevant single parent topics with single parents (and ministry leaders) from around the world. We now host 35,000+ single moms each week in different social media venues. They are fun, informative, and sometimes hilarious. Simply follow us on Facebook for Topic Tuesdays for regular chats. (Discussions take place in the comments section). Facebook not your thing? Don’t worry! We have communities on Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest, too!
Are you looking for a church in your area that has a single moms’ program? Our interactive map allows you to input a zip code to find a support group near you. Visit our “Find a Group Near You” tab. Can’t find a group near you? Consider starting one at your local church, so that other single moms can find you. Check it out HERE.
*While we make every effort to keep our map current, there are cases when a support group closes or a new one launches and we aren’t informed of such changes. Please notify us, if you discover such an occurrence. Please be advised that listing on our national map does not always indicate a formal partnership with a host site.

“I’ve come a long way, but I’m not done yet. God wants to use my story to help others. And though my story is not over, I know I have a sisterhood of single moms who are walking me through that unfinished journey. TLSM saved my life and for that, I am forever grateful.”
