BATON ROUGE, LA , AUGUST 2021- On Friday, October 21 and Saturday, October 22, 2022, single moms from across the nation will descend upon Baton Rouge for the 2022 National TLSM Single Moms’ Conference hosted by The Life of a Single Mom. The Baton Rouge-based nonprofit indicated that women from 22 states have already registered to spend the weekend at Healing Place Church for two days of life-changing impact. Started in 2014, this Christian conference has been hosted in a number of states and has become the largest single moms’ conference in the U.S. However, it makes its way back to Greater Baton Rouge this year providing single mothers with free admission, childcare, three meals, door prizes, swag bags, national speakers, vendor booths, gourmet desserts, and worship from the Healing Place Worship Band. Registration is required and both childcare and seating is limited.

Keynote speakers include best-selling authors, Jim Burns of San Juan Capistrano, California, Shannon Ethridge of Springfield, Missouri, and Jennifer Maggio, of Baton Rouge. Breakout session speakers include Courtnaye Richard, Judy Capps, J.E. Berry, Jeff Maggio, and Erica Foster. Keynotes and breakout sessions include a variety of topics, including parenting, dating, growth in God, time management, home ownership, and many more. 

The event is hosted by The Life of a Single Mom, a national nonprofit, headquartered in Baton Rouge, that has served hundreds of thousands of single moms since its launch in 2011. The nonprofit primarily focuses on establishing single mother support groups in churches, hosting single mother events & boot camps, and providing life skills education via their online education portal, Single Mom University.
