The Life of a Single Mom of Baton Rouge, Louisiana is a national nonprofit committed to seeing no single mother walk alone by launching and growing single mother support groups in communities throughout the U.S. in churches and providing direct life skills education to mothers in three core areas: Parenting, Finances, and Health & Wellness. In existence since 2011, the organization has served 750,000 single mothers through 1,750 churches and continues to expand its footprint throughout the U.S. to provide services to mothers that include a large variety of supports, such as single moms’ ministries & curriculum, coaching for church leaders for effective mentorship, national and regional single mother events, case management, webinars, online education portals, ebooks, videos, podcasts, and much, much more. Starting as a mobile pregnancy testing and ultrasound service that now expands across 30 states, their services have blossomed into a larger platform, serving thousands of single moms across the nation.
