Care Net of Lansdowne, Virginia, and The Life of a Single Mom® of Baton Rouge, Louisiana have recently announced a national partnership to enhance services provided to expecting single mothers and children. The partnership comes as part of an ongoing effort to reach at-risk families with effective strategies that ensure they thrive. Efforts include life skills classes, support groups, mentoring, case management, educational events, and more.
Founded in 1975, Care Net empowers women and men considering abortion to choose life for their unborn children, find abundant life in Christ, and build strong, God-honoring families. Care Net has made a substantial impact in the pro-life movement by saving more than 940,000 babies from abortion and presenting the gospel to more than 2 million women and men since 2008. But Care Net doesn’t stop at saving the lives of unborn children; the work forges ahead to ensure that these families can experience the abundant life Christ brings. Care Net is not just pro-life, but Pro Abundant Life. This approach is what makes Care Net so effective. Part of its effectiveness includes a collaborative effort with thousands, incorporating 1,200 affiliates and 30,000+ volunteers in the fight.

Founded in 2011, The Life of a Single Mom is the largest single mom services provider in the U.S., working to ensure that no single mom walks alone. Their work includes launching 1,750+ single moms’ support groups in churches and nonprofits, providing 175+ online life skills classes, hosting life-changing conferences & boot camps, and more. Over the past 11 years, the organization has served more than one million single mothers.
