What We Do & Why We Do It at The Life of a Single Mom

At The Life of a Single Mom Ministries, we believe no single mom should walk alone. We are often asked about who we are, what we do, and why we do it. So, we wanted to take a moment to share with those who are curious.

We pray, teach, encourage, counsel, provide long-term solutions, and so much more. We serve single parents of all shapes, sizes, and stories. We serve single moms and single dads.

We recognize amazing single moms, including our National Single Mom of the Year Award. We provide FREE podcasts, videos, articles, newsletters, magazines, and events just for single moms. We launch support groups all over the world to see that churches reach out to single moms, as well as provide churches with training, solutions, and encouragement as they minister to single moms. We provide real, raw, life-giving, cheap books and Bible study materials, often far below are actual costs.

We pray with countless ladies every day who call, email, and message us. We give away groceries and toiletries, and ship goodies all over the world. We’ve paid for funerals, emergency situations, and donated cars. We do not meet every need, every time, so we partner with accredited organizations on a regular basis to work collaboratively.

We are doing our very best to meet single moms where they are, bring them Christ, encourage them, offer them hope, connect them to a support group near them, and be a hub for resource referrals. And so much more…. We’re changing the world one single mom at a time.
