Join us for a free Pastor’s Breakfast on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at 9am at Oak Lodge (2834 S Sherwood Forest Blvd Suite E-1, Baton Rouge, LA 70816), exclusively for GBR pastors. Both in-person and virtual viewing options are available. In-person option will include breakfast. Discussion will include ways to grow existing single moms’ ministries, ideas for implementing new single moms’ groups, why you may need to restructure your plan, and Q&A. Currently, there are 476,000 Louisiana children being raised by single moms. Most experts agree that the number of single parent homes will continue to rise over the next decade. This is the reason The Life of a Single Mom Ministries (TLSM) exists – to empower the local church to reach single mothers. With 67% of these families not connected to a church, there is much work to be done. Headquartered right here in Baton Rouge, TLSM has served more than 1,600 churches around the United States to help develop an effective single moms’ outreach & discipleship plan. We have worked diligently to connect an estimated 627,000 single mothers to a local church over the last ten years and specialize in working with churches of varying sizes & denominations, fully submitting to that church’s vision and authority.
