We know this is the time where we start to reflect on all of the things that have transpired over the course of the year. We hear you crying out for some encouragement during this holiday season. Christmas often brings a rollercoaster of emotions. We start to think about the loved ones that we've lost. We start to focus on the goals that we didn't accomplish. All of the failures and disappointments flood our minds. Instead of being filled with the love of God and focusing on the true reason for the season, we focus on how we don't have that white picket fence with the beautiful household made up of 2 parents madly in love.
But with all of that, we have a word for you for this season! Now, is the time to rise up. This is the season where things will begin to turn around. Jennifer Maggio is an award-winning author and speaker, whose personal journey through homelessness, abuse, and multiple teen pregnancies is leaving audiences around the globe riveted. At 19, Maggio was pregnant for the fourth time, living in government housing on food stamps and welfare. She shares with great openness her pain, mistakes, and journey to find hope in Christ. The Life of a Single Mom is a national, faith-based, nonprofit that exists to see that no single mom walks alone.
