BATON ROUGE, La. – The Life of a Single Mom is a proud recipient of generous grant awarded by The Danos Foundation of Gray, Louisiana to empower and educate single mothers. The Danos Foundation announced it has distributed $140,000 to six nonprofit organizations located in Louisiana and Texas, areas where the company works. Six organizations, including The Life of a Single Mom, were selected as grant recipients from a total of 70 nonprofits who applied.

The money awarded will give Louisiana and Texas single mothers one year of free access to Single Mom University, an online classroom home to over 150 self-paced life skill classes on everything single mom-related, including, but not limited to Parenting for First-Time Moms, Raising Boys Alone, Surviving & Overcoming Abuse, Career Readiness 101, Stress Management, Life Balance & Time Management, Trauma Care, and much more.

The Danos Foundation impacts and improves the communities where company employees live and work by mirroring the purpose and values of Danos.
