The National TLSM Single Moms’ Conference is coming back to Baton Rouge on Saturday, August 28, 2021, and we cannot wait to see all that God does! We get chills thinking about our conferences over the years and the testimonies that come from them. We haven’t been in Louisiana in several years and we’re happy to be coming back to our home state to bring the power and encouragement you’ve come to expect to single mothers and their supporters.
New To The Conference?
Well, let’s just give you a sneak peak of this life-transforming event. We offer national speakers, awe-inspiring worship, a beautiful conference opener, vendor booths, 2 meals, snacks, childcare, swag bags for all attendees, door prizes, and so much more! We laugh. We cry. We worship. The anointing of the living God is always there and lives are changed.
Need a game plan on how to thrive as a new single mom? We’ve got it. Need encouragement for staying the course as a single mom veteran? We’ve got it. Need an encounter with the living God that will move mountains, transform lives, and offer hope when there seems to be done? We’ve got it. Our team gets intentional in prayer as we seek God’s direction for this event each year. Having to forego our 2020 conference, we have no doubt that our 2021 conference will be the best one yet. In fact, we know it! We’re celebrating ten years as a ministry and we have lots of surprises in store!
While our 2021 event will have both online and in-person attendance options. We highly encourage every single mother who can get into the building at Healing Place Church to be in person in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Fly, carpool, bus, run, walk, crawl. Whatever you have to do! Get in the building. Our Chief Executive Officer recently shared at our Ten-Year Anniversary Gala, “The Lord has shown me that our 2021 National TLSM Single Moms’ Conference will usher in revival in the lives of many single mothers and their children. There will be a great shaking that will take place and lives will never be the same.”

1. Because...COVID.
Yeah, we’re all over being isolated, so come enjoy fellowship with a few hundred of your new single mom besties!
2. Laughter.
Let’s face it. The heaviness of the last 18 months has been more than most of us have faced in a long time. The weight of isolation, loneliness, unemployment, medical concerns, fear, virtual learning, political tension, and work-from-home has taken its toll.
And at our conferences, we know how to have a good time!

3. Tears.
Tears are necessary and therapeutic. They remind us how far we’ve been and how far we have left to go. They give us a litmus test of where our emotions are today. There’s no doubt you’ve shed a few over this last year, so why not come shed one in the presence of friends and other single mommas!
4. Don't forsake the gathering.
There is power in the gathering of a group of like-minded women and their ability to seek God. When we gather with intention to see what God wants for us and the lives of our children, the atmosphere shifts. Perspectives change. Revelation comes forward. And the enemy flees.
5. Commonality.
Nowhere else in the country will you go where there are more single mothers in a room seeking God. The common denominator of parenting children alone is the theme of this conference. No, not in a hopeless, let’s all get together and lick our wounds type of way, but in a there is hope because others have gone before me and made it!
6. Mo Isom.
Mo Isom is a powerhouse, anointed, daughter of a former single mother, who walked the hard journey of her father’s death, the trauma of what was left behind, and the wounds that only God could have healed. 7. Ryan Leak.
Perhaps most widely known as a “failure expert”, Ryan Leak has preached to thousands with his message of hope in the midst of failures. His documentary, Chasing Failure, has been seen by thousands, as he highlights what he learned on his pursuit to the NBA. You don’t want miss the power he’ll bring to this conference. 8. Jill Savage.
Author to 14 books, Jill Savage is a premiere parenting expert. She has raised 5 children successfully and is now enjoying the fruit of her labors with grandchildren. 9. Jennifer maggio.
Author to 4 books, founder of The Life of a Single Mom Ministries, and former single mom who once lived in the projects on food stamps and welfare, Jennifer Maggio has been there and done that. She is passionate about seeing every single mom find hope and joy in Christ.
10. Anywhere USA.
With both online and in-person options, anyone, anywhere, can attend! No excuses this year, ladies. Every single mom and all her girlfriends should be attending in person or camped out in a living room to participate in this year’s event.
11. Sweet Treats.
We’ll have a whole hallway dedicated to Louisiana’s finest sweet treats sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. Calories don’t count at conference, do they?
12. REasonable Price.
$25 for 2 meals, national speakers, vendor booths, goodie bags, and one of the nicest church facilities in the U.S. Not bad, huh? While the conference costs us far more than $25 per person, it is our deepest desire to fill every seat. And guess what? Childcare is only $5. Now, that’s a deal.
13. Good meals.
Louisiana is nothing, if we aren’t good cooks. Come on down to “the boot” as we call it and enjoy some Cajun treats, as we take great care of you on this conference adventure weekend. And…if you don’t get enough at conference, take the short drive to New Orleans to spend Sunday walking the streets of Louisiana’s most famous city.

17. Vendor Booths.
Vendor booths become a critical component of our conference, as part of our long-term goal of seeing single mothers.
18. Healing place worship band.
Producer of several national albums, the Healing Place Worship Band is one of the top bands in the country. Their style offers soul, gospel, contemporary, and most importantly, ushering in the presence of the Holy Spirit!
19. Dena Rizzo's Dance company.
Dena Rizzo is one of the most powerful Christian dance instructors in the U.S. Known as the queen of hip hop back in the day, Dena’s powerful testimony of God rescuing her from the depth of despair in Harlem.
20. Childcare.
Childcare is offered for children ages six weeks to sixth grade, so we’ve removed all the guesswork from this fun weekend.

Yep, in 2014, we launched our first conference and women from 42 states traveled in town. And through the years, we’ve been astounded with how women from Chicago and Miami are still friends. Some even caravan to the conference every year just to meet up from other states. There are certain to be new girlfriends in the row of the 2021 National TLSM Single Moms’ Conference. The power of the living God will set people free, radically change lives, give perspective, and shift like a mighty rushing wind coming in to offer the only eternal hope that changes everything.
